Liz Schroeter loves the Stuff You Should Know Podcast
By Venus Zine Staff Published: January 31st, 2010 | 8:10pm
If you’ve ever wanted to know more about hangovers, organ donation, sleepwalking, totem poles, or even the sun, Josh Clark and Charles W. Bryant’s weekly “Stuff You Should Know” podcast from HowStuffWorks.com will answer all of your burning questions. The adorably nerdy duo (who clearly have man-crushes on each other) give easy-to-understand explanations of, well, how all kinds of stuff works.
Topics range from super scientific to just plain weird, and Josh and Chuck neither dumb things down nor take a stuffy NPR-esque approach. Listening to them is like hanging out with your smart college friends who, after a few beers, would go on a rant about something like string theory or, like, the universe, man. Only Josh and Chuck are loaded on facts—not alcohol (as far as we know)—and you will undoubtedly learn something new with each listen.
